So to launch The RealReal’s latest chapter, Team One and director Sebastian Strasser created a world so polished, so convincing, so eerily perfect, it could only be fake.
“L’Ultimo Uomo Reale” begins like a luxury fantasy and slowly unravels into something else: a darkly funny meditation on what still feels real in an age of AI, imitation and algorithmic perfection.
The film itself was created almost entirely with AI. The only real thing on screen was the ever-present leather bag from The RealReal. Because when everything can be copied, the rarest luxury left is the real thing.
