Brand Redesign and Relaunch

          When a trademark infringement threatened to foil a young girl’s mission to save the honeybees with lemonade, Team One’s The Legacy Lab™ leapt into action. Working closely with our 12-year old client, founder and CEO Mikaila Ulmer, we created a new name and a storybook tale: Me & the Bees. And that was the beginning of just the beginning. We also created a comprehensive brand identity, packaging and a brand book that fueled the company’s commercial success and boosted its social impact, including recognition by the 4A’s Jay Chiat Awards for Strategic Excellence. But more important was what it did for Mikaila. After the new brand launch, Mikaila’s Twitter engagement rate increased by 90%, Facebook engagement jumped 170% and sales went up by 166%. Ask any honeybee—that’s pretty good buzz.
